How would I personally remove the foolishness from a genuine fool ? Through conversation and sharing thoughts with that person and keeping an open mind during those conversations.

And...whose to say that the other person is a " fool " or just simply thinks differently ? I'm careful not to judge too quickly least it be discovered that maybe I was the " fool ".

There are many verses in Proverbs that speak about fools. In my reading of those I see that a fool is a fool. His foolishness cannot be removed. I refer you to Proverbs 27:22. It says: Though thou shouldest bray a fool in a mortar among wheat with a pestle, yet will not his foolishness depart from him.
