Yes-it is very important. The temple will eventually be rebuilt. And then the antichrist will go into it. This will be the end of the world, and the coming of Christ. Hallelujah!! Come Lord Jesus!

The nation of Israel is Gods chosen people. But even though they I think we all should care about who is still lost and going to hell if they were to die right now. In Matthew 28:18-20 it explains that we are to go into all nations to witness and to teach.

Only in that it is a bellweather.
God has told us to watch how he fulfills prophecy.
The nation was reborn on the exact day (some 2500 years) it was prophesied to. Then, they regained control of Jerusalem on the exact day (~ 2500 years) it was prophesied.
Most people are unaware that God has told people that Israel's rebirth is a sign of the end of the age coming soon.
Other than that, Israel is a people in rebellion to God, just like all other nations and people. In some ways, more so.

This is going to sound strange an new to most of you, but that little country over in the Middle East is NOT Israel, it is Judah.
So, do I care what happens to Judah? Of course, they are still part of God's chosen people.
But I care about what is happening to Israel more.

YES it is more important to me than any other country on this planet because this is the land that GOD chose! HE said that HE planted Jerusalem with HIS whole heart. HE said for believers to Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and I take this seriously. When every nation comes against her, and they will, I will still stand with and for Israel and the Jewish people.
I cannot say that my affection is well received by the Jewish ppl overall but I am not called to be a Watchman on her walls to please man, even Jewish man, I am called to do this because that is what GOD would have me do. Thank you and I want to encourage everyone who claims the Name of Jesus to do what HIS word says for us to do.

The land of Israel was given in covenant to the Jewish people in the Old Testament by God Almighty. The Jews are God's chosen people. As Christians, we are brothers & sisters through Christ with the Jewish people.
Israel is a tiny country, that is a democractic state in the midst of the Middle East. They are tough, strong people. Of course, I not only pray for them, but help support them with my vote, my husband & our children have served in the military that helps support and defend them against all enemies and with gifts because God ASKS us to love them, pray for them, defend them, and support them.
God says, "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. I will bless those who bless them and I will curse those who curse them."
I want God's blessings in/on my life and those of my children and grandchildren...not curses.

Yea, I suppose I do
I like the under dog
I like knowing SOMEONE is in OIL LAND other than MUSLIMS
I like knowing there is a place we can land our B-52s if we need to
Tell me, honestly, do you like paying $4 a gallon for GAS so you NOT know that MUSLIMS are the key reason you pay that much!
OPEC is DOMINATED by Muslims
They set the price and flow of Oil
That determines GAS prices
Now, tell me HOW sympathetic you are to MUSLIMS
Tell me as you pay $4 per gallon for gas

according to Jesus they are not God´s people already
Matthew 23:37 "“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the killer of the prophets and stoner of those sent forth to her,—how often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks together under her wings! But YOU people did not want it. 38 Look! YOUR house is abandoned to YOU."
Daniel 9:27 “And he must keep [the] covenant in force for the many for one week; and at the half of the week he will cause sacrifice and gift offering to cease"
until the end of this last week the covenant will last , 3 years and a half of Jesus´s death (Nisan 14), that is recorded in Acts 10 , when cornelius was chosen by holy spirit and was a roman and doesn´t need to became proselyte jew.
Acts 10:34 "At this Peter opened his mouth and said: “For a certainty I perceive that God is not partial, 35 but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.
