A dog, male or female, should only be bred after they are two years old and have screened for and have been certified by such organizations as the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) and CERF (Canine Eye Registration Foundation).

Serious breeding requires a lot of research and commitment, and only the best examples of the breed (who have been screened for genetic health and temperament issues) who have come from reputable breeders (if they told you beforehand that they are breeding material) should be bred.

Each year, millions of pets, purebred and mixed, young and old, are being put to sleep simply because there are not enough responsible homes for them. Be a part of the solution.

According to the Humane Society of the United States and the government Census Bureau, 2,000 puppies and 450 humans are born every hour in our country. Right from the start, only 1 out of 4 puppies has a chance at a home. Finding a permanent home is even harder - only 1 out of 10 dogs will stay with its original buyer for its whole life. 5 out of 10 will change owners before they’re a year old. The remainder of these dogs will end up in animal shelters, abandoned and unwanted. Even if your dog is an expensive purebred, your puppies are subject to the same statistics. At least 3 million dogs will be killed in animal shelters this year alone because there just aren’t enough homes for all of them There are so many unwanted pets that cities all over the country are considering passing laws that will ban all breeding.

Hun, you're able to understand you're a new child. This fact you have made: "i'm a teenager yet I easily have continuously been mature for my age and that i'm no longer a stupid individual." shows you're immature, and that i'm unlikely to assert "stupid" in line with se because of the fact it is not constructive, yet you're in simple terms no longer mentally mature sufficient to totally carry close that this grownup male is a predator. you're able to be able to think of you're mature, you're able to be able to think of you're clever, yet there is one area of your recommendations, interior the frontal lobe which hasn't stepped forward yet. And that's in simple terms no longer stepped forward until eventually you're on your mid-Nineteen Twenties. it fairly is why you're no longer asserting, "Whoa... why could a grown guy be attempting to be with me? Why could a grown guy desire a courting with a new child? Any sane, rational, and healthy individual could by no potential attempt to get right into a courting with a new child. some thing is incorrect here, why can no longer he get a woman his very own age?" instead, you're focused on the reality he's being candy, and you sense you're "in love" and "so chuffed." have faith me, this is not any longer love. in case you're able to conceal some thing out of your loved ones, you recognize DEEP DOWN that's incorrect. And this is not any longer a commencing to start a courting. Do you somewhat think of you may save this going for 3 years without your loved ones sorting out? Do you fairly think of you may proceed on as a new child, with a grown guy basically speaking on the internet or the telephone? i think of you're able to end this at recent. This guy is undesirable information. have faith me. do no longer even take a seat around waiting to make certain. there may well be many the clarification why he's preying on you. He may well be a pedophile, or he could desire to wish comprehensive administration over a individual and a mature grown woman would not tolerate this, he could love innocence... in simple terms... end with this guy. he's not sorting out on your ultimate pastimes in any respect.

He could have been with a female since he was a puppy. You don't have to wait for him to be a certain age. When a male dog is old enough and a female is available they know what to do. They figure it out about the same time they get in their canine teeth. He could have grown up with his lady love just fine.

The minimum age I would even consider breeding any dog is 2 years. Before that they are not mature enough IMO.

neuter him!! that will avoid problems!!!
Why do people want to breed, Read up about it.. THIS IS NOT A REASON TO BREED YOUR DOG.. You need to neuter him it will help with ANY AGGRESSION he would have if he were to have any for hormonal reasons.. if your dog is aggressive because of the way your taught it, breeding Will not help either..

6 months or so and yes you should be able to mate them, just be sure the female is in heat. Dogs can become violent so introduce them slowly while on a leash and watch them. Make sure she is in heat and accepts him.

I'm not sure about when, but I would suggest that you make sure you know where the future puppies are going. If you don't, then don't do it.
