Bekkymettal...first, one of the most misused slang terms is "sleep with"...I don't know why people say this, you don't sleep with the person, MUCH, if you are busy having sex, so let's call it what it is...having sex....
Now, your question...Each state has a different RULE or law on the books for this...I have read some of the answers before me. Ohio Revised Code states the age of consent for a female to have sex is 16. YES, IT IS SICK, NO I WILL NOT PARTAKE IN THIS LAW, AND NO I DO NOT CONDONE THE ENFORCEMENT OF THIS LAW. But if a girl, for arguments sake, wants to date a 21 year old male, and the parents allow it, and they have sex, the parents have NO RECOURSE ON THE MALE. IT IS THE OHIO LAW, I LOOKED INTO IT, because I knew someone in a situation like this, where a college attending male was dating a 15 turned 16 year old high school girl. I didn't agree. ONLY IF THE PARENT(S) GIVE THE MALE/FEMALE VERBAL NOTICE NOT TO COME AROUND OR CALL OR SEE THEIR CHILD, and if their child has sex, can the parents have charges brought against the individual. 30 and 16 will not cut it. 40-45-50 and 16 will not get it, the police will enforce other laws.

In 38 of the states in the Union, it is illegal for an adult (over 18) to sleep with a minor (14) ONLY IF her parents object. They must be the ones to file statutory rape charges against the older person, so you better hope they don't.

IT is illegal for anyone over 18 to have sex with anyone under 18. However there might be some exceptions in some states.

A 14 yr old has no business having sex with anyone...and if it's not illegal for a 19 yr old to have sex with them, it should be.

Yes it is illegal! Anyone over the age of 18 can not sleep with someone younger.

Man whats up with you chicks always going after 14 year old guys...and its always the most strange looking chicks doing it to...its very annoying please stick to your age group they only like you cause you older and thy just have you for bragging rights im 14 and i hate it when guys at school brag about how they got an 17 year old and a 20 year old chick why don't you stop being desperate and date somebody your own age geez......I hate when you 16-20 year olds go after the 14 year olds n stuff gosh, give the 14 year old chicks a chance
