To answer your question, my favorite salad is Pecan Crusted Chicken salad, from TGIFridays. But you probably couldn't bring that to a church thing, huh? You could make a knock off. They bake the chicken using chopped up pecans as the crust. Serve it sliced up over a salad of mixed greens, blue cheese crumbles, mandarin orange slices and celery. It's so yummy!

i love salad when everything is chopped and mixed. lettuce or baby spinach, tomatoes, red onion, olives, feta cheese, peperoccini peppers, stuffed grape leaves and i like oil and vinegar dressing. you could put some fresh herbs in it too, like parsley, oregano, and even a little mint.

My friend's Mom makes this amazing broccoli cornbread casserole. It's basically cornbread, some corn kernels, broccoli, onions, celery, and lots of cheese. It's WONDERFUL.
