istalling on my mac?

i downloaded ares. a file sharing program on my mac. when i try to install it it say...."there is no default application specified to open the document "aresregualr209_installer.exe" then it offers me "choose application" what do i do to get this going?

macs do not open .exe files that is a windows only file.
