I've heard from some people it can make them appear lighter and brighter, others say it makes them darker. which one?

When a person is in the sunlight their eye color always looks lighter. For instance my eyes are a fairly deep green but in the bright sun they look light green and outside on cloudy days they look grey-green. But the actual color hasn't changed.....it's just that things look different in different light. You might want to look up eye color on wikipedia, it might have information about sun exposure and eye color. Seems like I read about that on there.

I don't think it will change the color of your eyes. It may seem to change the color but that could be b/c the color of your skin is getting darker. I do know that sun exposure will cause cataracts. I've had cataracts before & vision loss & surgery certainly isn't worth it. Always protect your eyes. Good luck.

the only things that willl change the colors of your eyes are...meds and contacts...the sun doesn't change the color of your eyes, but it can damage them so you can't see...
