I have some beautiful bright flower tattoos on my hips and I got this skin tone evening lotion that I want to use. Will the lotion affect my tats in any way?

Over the counter strength lotions like this should be fine. Many contain lower levels of fruit acids that can actually enhance the colors of the tattoo because they help to remove dead skin cells.

Conversely, some of them on the prescriptive levels contain hyroquinone, kojic acid, and such. They are skin lighteners and I would wonder if they could affect the tattooing. I would use these with caution.

generally, it's to prevent skin from getting dry. I don't think this really has anything to do with evening out skin tone.

It's hard to say. I would go around them like the other person said. I would also call your tattoo artist and see what he/she says.

If the tattoo is new......you should stay away from anything
with lanolin, petroleum, or a fragrance.
If the tattoo has healed, I don't see a problem.
