Yeah, I know, that's kind of provocative, especially since I've commented on it before in my answers. But it is one of the most striking differences between the two groups, and it needs to be explored. Maybe we can get a grant... nah! Let's just figure it out here.

I'm not implying anything here, but atheists generally have more knowledge and are better at explaining what they know. Don't get me wrong, because I knew plenty of intelligent Christians and people of other faiths.

Maybe it could be that children are more apt to believe in the supernatural, whereas adults lose their belief more often than gain it. Therefore the correlation could be caused because the children are naturally not very good writers. It may or may not be a direct correlation.

I don't think so... that is selective observation and selective evidences...

I have also read some answers saying grammar and spelling and everything is wrong, sorry, that one is not the basis for an intelligent and comprehensive answer either. why? because not all people's tongue is English and some doesn't even care if they speak or write English correctly. as long as they can understand it, its fine, but it does not mean he/she is does not write better...

and also, this is the computer world, i can type "why?" with "Y?" since it sounds the same and the latter part makes it easier.. i can even write? "dts a fact!" or "Y s dt so?".

(i will be biased here)
I am a Christian, and we don't write to persuade others to be Christian, we persuade by example. Now let me ask for forgiveness for Christians that behaves the other way.

They're more intelligent.

I suppose that's a blanket statement, but if the blanket fits...

Oh, I kid the Christians, but seriously. It IS remarkable that so many "Christians" who post on here are barely literate. They spend all day attacking atheists, yet they STILL can't even spell the word correctly. Then they say it's petty to criticize them for spelling and grammar...well, look, in the real world, if you can't present your argument in an intelligent, coherent manner, including knowing how to spell elementary words, you have no cause for surprise if people think you every kind of an idiot.

Then we get to the arguments themselves...some of these people make Kirk Cameron look like a Rhodes Scholar.

A better sense of logic probably goes hand in hand with how the mind's thinking works and how a person words things...but that's just my guess.

A better education..?

Really I think we are just able to formulate and verbalize a better thought process. We don't relate everything to the bible.
