There are certain flowering plants that will attract bees. Clover and lavender come to mind. I would suggest that you contact your county Extension Agent (part of USDA) for more information.

Along with the other great suggestions, it is important to use no insecticidal chemicals. You will have to rely solely on organics like Bt and beneficials like lady bugs. The list is obviously longer but I think you get the idea.
