Go with RCA or Emerson, always make Sony your last resort, people think that since Sony is a large company, that their products are better than the rest, but I can tell you from personal experiences that Sony products have a higher DOA rate than others, and they break down a lot faster than other products, RCA made the first televsion, so you can always trust RCA, I can't say anything about Emerson, but they have to be better than Sony, also, like somebody else said here, Pioneer also makes good trusted products
