NO! First of all, consider that this is a MAN who is dating a child. Yes, I know 14 doesn't feel like a child, but you are just getting through puberty and what does a man who is 20 years old expect to get from a girl who is 14 years old? He is not looking for a long term relationship, he's looking for a roll in the hay. Run away and do it fast!
Honestly, if he really cares about you, then he will wait until you are 19 and he is 25. Then you would be old enough to meet him on the same level: as equals in a relationship.

is it ok for a 10 yr old to go out with a 16 yr old guy? Just think about it, what goes through the mind of a young man almost all day? Can't be work or video games, right? That is child molestation. What is a man gonna look at in a child? Fresh meat!!
Look at DATELINE when they have the catch a predator specials, those dudes just want sex..they bring the condoms then they leave, they got what they wanted from the girl, thats all that matters. So what if the girl thinks she loves the guy. The guy won't care, if u get pregnant, oh well..dude is just gonna walk out of ur life.

If you are looking for some sort of approval for your desire to date a 20 year old man while you are still a teen...you have definately come to the wrong place. Everyone has said the whole legal thing, so I wont go there. What concerns me is why would you want to date a man? You are barely old enough to be dating boys...in some peoples minds you still aren't old enough to date at all. Are you wanting to feel older? Are you trying to be seen as mature and grown up? Do you think that you have the maturity and mentality to handle dating a man? I would recommend that you look long and hard at yourself sweetheart. Don't give up on childhood yet, it is soooo much more fun than adulthood, even tho you might think adults have it better...trust me, we don't. We all wish we could go back to being kids again. Don't rush yourself. And please don't give up on virtue, don't be sleeping with boys or men yet. This only complicates your emotions and your life. And at 14 you still have so much left to discover about yourself and who you really are. This is a time for you to be a kid, have fun, and learn....don't leap into the world of adult problems.

2. 20 year olds that want to date 14 year olds are losers. They prey on young women because they cant get women of thier own age.
3. 14 year olds should not be dating. Its too young. I know you dont believe this, I sure didn't at 14 but its time for you to be learning about yourself, what you like, who you are. Not hooking up with a loser 20 year old.
If some guy who is over 18 is trying to date you, then you should tell your parents and permit them to handle this.

There is a reason women his own age won't date him, he's probably an idiot.

Aside from the legality of this issue, there are a lot of differences between these two ages. Most relevent would be sex. He would probably expect sex and often, which would get him into a LOT of trouble with the law considering your age. I'm sure he's a great person and you might be able to hang on to him as a friend, but I wouldn't get too close to him because even the implication that you two are doing something might be enough to get him into trouble.

If you want to visit him in prison, yeah. Dont be so nieve he has much more experience with girls and he would know how to play you like a flute (figuritivly speaking)
Your still early in the game, play it a little more before getting involved with someone so experienced.

well,no because its illeagel. i am 18 and dating a 25 year old and its different in the relationship .it really matters on trust and maturity levels. its risky, but make a list of pros and cons! because u honestly wont listen to the people on here. be safe about it. good luck
