Jokes are sometimes used to distract others from their fantasy because they don't want to hear the truth. They are so tightly wrapped in their cocoon of ignorance that they wont listen to the truth. And quite frankly they are a joke. But it is all slowly coming to an end. By the end of the century religion will be no more than little fish symbols scratched on walls in obscure places as a reminder that some reminisce of Christianity still exist in the alleys and subways of America.

Maybe they do it to ease their consciences so they don't to think about a possible alternative. Or maybe they are just not able to comprehend the possibility....

To be honest, people that do blasphemy is just trying to mislead others. That is a prophecy in itself. Sometimes I ask questions just for others to answer and make them think.

The world is not only christian, it is made of of many other beliefs also; and non-belief too. You only have faith yours is the right way not proof.
You do not have the right to make decisions for others. If your god does not exist to them then that is their right to have that, not yours to say no it's not like that it's my way.

They don't think humor makes God not exist. They don't believe he exists at all. Nothing you can say will change thier mind. So why do you try?
