Of course it had a designer.
so look around outside how can you say this world just happened by chance? It had to of had a designer/Creator.

If we were not created how do you explain DNA. DNA is a very complex program for the body.

If we were not created how do you know what is right and wrong when no one tells you?

this is because there is a Creator. God created everything. Have a Blessed Day!

Aliens were flying high above the earth in their spaceship and dropped it down to mark their territory...

It had a designer... Coke-a-cola was made by somebody, everything has a designer the only exception is this marvelous planet and solar system and universe we live in....

(disclaimer: I don't believe in ailiens in a conventional sense, I do believe God made the earth in 7 days this is just one of those topics that everyone goes around and round with on this Yahoo Answers and yes I believe it is important...)

How can you say that something as complex as a god just happened by chance? Of course it had a designer and that designer is god's god. And that god also required a designer and that god is god's god's god...ad infintum.

Infinite regression is going to happen no matter how you look at things. I say that simple matter and/or energy has always existed and things change over time. There could never have been a time when nothing at all existed.

"From nothing, nothing comes." - Some Christian apologist.

So faced with the scientific explanation that matter cannot be created or destroyed (1st law of thermodynamics), that's to say that matter and/or energy has always existed in some form, or the theist hypothesis that magic man (god) done it - I choose science.

DNA does have a designer. It's called evolution and it's not a process of chance. Evolution designs from the bottom up, not the top down. If you care at all about the truth do some reading:

Don't learn about evolution from your pastor. That'd be like me learning about Jesus from a Satanist.

I know what's right and wrong because I know what it's like to feel pain and at some point I realized that others feel pain just the same as me. That's the basis for morality. I don't need promise of rewards or threats of torment in order to be a good person. If that's the only reason you have for being moral then by all means persist in your delusion.

Why can we not make the distinction between things that were designed by humans and things that just happened in nature?

Seriously?

The entire argument falls apart when you consider that the Creator did not have a Creator. If even one thing in the Universe, especially something as complex as a Creator didn't need a Creator, then why would EVERYTHING ELSE need a Creator?

Here we go again *sigh*
The wall had a designer, but the man who designed it didn't.
If you insist, that this man has to have a designer, too, then - according to your logic - his designer (your god) has to have a designer.... this can go on forever!
So, we both know that has to stop somewhere, but who can say when? At the beginning of a natural chain reaction or at a god?
Something back there just didn't need a designer. Period.

Designer

Colossians 1:16
For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him

It is obvious that logic is not your strong suit, but I am somewhat surprised that you like to brag about your ignorance.

Actually, it had several designers.

By your logic, your god is one of many.

I'm comfortable with that, are you?
