What you have have is a accumulator- orifice tube system. If you are lucky they may not have pulled the box your evaporator core sits in. What you will need. 1. compressor (mounts to the engine) and you may have to have the bolts holding the compressor on 2. evaporator core (and the heater/evaporator/blower motor casing) (mounts under the dash on the passenger side) 3. Condenser (looks like a radiator that fits in front of the radiator) 4. orifice tube (fits in the liquid line) and 5. The hose assembly. 6. The accumulator/drier. Those are the major components. Then there is the oil, refrigerant, gaskets, low and high pressure switches and since you stated that there had been one there before you control panel and wiring harness should hook up. Please note. This will be expensive. good luck

Fordman has it right. The junkyard is a good place to get what you need. I would only add that you MUST get the parts from a sealed system that has freon in it. If you get the parts from a system that has been open, your asking for more trouble than it's worth to even do in the first place. In fact, if the evaporator is still in the dash, and has been open all this time, it will will need to be flushed very thoroughly, or, better yet, replaced.
And good luck, if need any more info just yell!

If nothing else and if you don't have any junkyards around your area, try going online and looking these up and see if you can get 1 by mail -package express! I had to get a new bumper for my 1994 Ranger. it came from Alabama! Over 700 miles from where I live! They have numbers listed in there most of the time!

Not sure what all was taken out, but you should be able to find a car in a salvage yard with the AC on it still. Then just replace everything you don't have. Once you get it all together, you may want to take it to an AC shop and have it checkd for leakes and have it charged up. good luck.

I would start at www.car-part.com this is a used parts site.
It's hard to say exactly what parts you will need.
Hope this helps.
