To 1saintofGod: "First numbers 1-3 I have rarely heard and I kind of like number four"
First of all, I did not ask about POPULAR phrases/words that annoy you. I meant any words/phrases in GENERAL. Those words annoy ME. I couldn't care less if you "like number 4". It's completely wrong anyway. There's no 'G' in sandwich.
"And although the N-word might not be wise to use, when se use it, there is a reason and only the person of that color has any right to use the N-word. When we use it, it fits."
Ummm...maybe it fits for YOU, but not for me dude. I'm Black, grew up around Black people, and refuse to use such a repulsive and ignorant word.
"Now numbers 6 and 7 are fine and Irregardless is used for specif purposes which I even use at times. "
Just because YOU like using incorrect grammar doesn't mean that it should be acceptable.
" If you do not understand what the person means by number 9, I do not know what to say. And good hair is just that; good hair."
Wow, you're dumb.

I agree with all of yours.

I would like to add "flustrate" to the list. Do the people not know the proper word or do they think it is cute to say this???? All I know is i want to scream when I hear it.

I don't like when I give somebody something good to eat and the person says, "what a treat!" I know there is nothing wrong with that, I just hate it anyway.

Speaking of anyway, I hate it when someone says ANYWAYS. That really drives me nuts.

Since you ask, I hate "supposably." Do these people think this is actually a word? So many, supposedly intelligent, people use this that my poor aged mother called me one day to check and make sure that she hadn't been wrong all these years. I told her she wasn't wrong, the other people were.

I won't go on, but I could.

First numbers 1-3 I have rarely heard and I kind of like number four. I even use it at times; it is kind of cool. And although the N-word might not be wise to use, when se use it, there is a reason and only the person of that color has any right to use the N-word. When we use it, it fits. Now numbers 6 and 7 are fine and Irregardless is used for specif purposes which I even use at times. Number 8 is an interesting word to use. Although I can not remember the meaning of it. Number 8, learn to live with it. If you do not understand what the person means by number 9, I do not know what to say. And good hair is just that; good hair.

Now there are some words I don't care for and they are like and you know. The first example is this:

She is like 17. You can not be like an age. you are either 17, almost 17, or look like you are 17, but not like 17. The second example always using the word you know in a sentence. You use it so much that it kills the meaning.

Oftentimes (prounoucing the first t, and why add the 'times' bit?)

Prawly -- which I thought should be pronounced probably

Well, yes, the n word, and all other slurs and epithets. Except "knuckle-dragger" which I kinda do like.

I hear sammwich more than sangwich, but either bugs me.

I LOVE discombobulated -- it's a great word!

These words annoy me because they're wrong
irregardless
lacsidaisical - oh brother!

These words annoy me because they get used every other sentence....
basically
totally
literally
to be honest with you

Then there's, "I don't mean to interrupt, but...." and then they interrupt. Almost any word can be substituted there, like "I don't mean to gossip but,....." You name it, it can fit there and annoy you to death.
