It's 90+ degrees and I have been moving all day.
I am not a big ice pop eater, BUT it's hot *** hell, so I pulled the box from the freezer and GUESS WHAT?!!!
It was EMPTY. WOO HOO an empty God damn box of ice pops!!!!

Saw a bumper sticker today that read " Cats not kids"
Now I know why, cats dont eat ice pops.

Anyway, back to the question *sigh*.......

It's the weirdest thing...I used to have a magic fridge when I lived with my parents...it was never empty. Now, I never seem to find boxes of ice pops in my freezer anymore. Even empty ones...and if I drink a soda? There's one less and not two more where I got it from. Suck city.

It's definitely annoying when you find an empty box in the fridge but there's not too much that's more annoying than a kid that leaves an empty box in the fridge and curses like a sailor (no offense to my navy buddies). Oh wait a minute.......I guess there is one thing more annoying and that would be a kid who leaves an empty box in the fridge for no other reason than pure vengeance plus the cursing. So I can understand why you're angry if your 6 year old is being a vengeful little #$@%! Who would teach a kid something so unnecessary?

Well mine is usually the ice cream bucket ... sigh. Get all excited about a nice big yummy bowl of ice cream, go out to the freezer, reach for the bucket, grab it and it damn near flies across the room because I was expecting a couple pounds and found maybe an ounce >.<

I am with you...this made me so mad...and with 4 boys no one "did it"...lol...of course. They would also leave the wrappers on the table or in the yard.

Being the problem solver I am I made a sign-out sheet and divvied up the box and wrote their names on the wrapper. When they got a Popsicle they had to initial and put the time on the sign-out sheet...if I found a wrapper they lost a privilege. It only took a few weeks for them to figure out I wasn't playing. I still write their names on the wrappers but we were able to get rid of the sign-out sheet....(Hint- the last one to sign out had to make sure it was thrown away.)

I know this takes time and organization but a little bit goes a long way.

edit ~ Since everyone is judging you for cursing I will say...I do not judge anyone. You are an adult, if you wish to express yourself with "colorful" words that is your choice. I got the message ~ read between the lines. <><

First of all....don't use God's name in vain....

I understand what you're going through...I have my Best friend, her two kids (3yrs, 7 mo), and her husband staying with me....I don't like it. Love my best friend and her kids to death but I feel like it's ruining my friendship for this sole purpose....every time I want something from the fridge (fruit cup) it isn't there anymore!

Another thing, I come home from work and I want to lay down on my couch and her daughter is watching "Deal or No Deal"...I get the remote and change the channel...she cries and throws a tantrum to mommy.....I get up to go to the bathroom and when I come back she is back to watching it again.... the remote is on the coffee table and we both eye it and when I get closer to get it she runs and gets it because she is closer obviously and just smiles at me...what a conniving little b*&@!.....SHE IS ONLY 3 Yrs old and crying being a little spoiled brat just for a show that she knows nothing about......and it's my freaking house! That pisses me off more than going to the fridge and not finding what I want...but I feel your pain...been there done that!

Ahhhh...the trials and tribulations of Motherhood!!! Here's a thought, though, how about finding a hiding place for Mom's special treats???? Off limits to kids, well hidden, and there when you are really needing that special something to cool you down, cheer you up, or give you a reason to smile!

Cant say that has but I used to lick the icing off a cake when my mom would make one and leave it in the fridge.

Yes my 6 year old son eats a whole box in one day. I have to hide them in the basement freezer cause he will sneak them when your not looking.
