you are obviously not Christian.. so don't pretend that you know Christians by a few people on here who are probably pretending to be Christian and spewing hate... Christian people love our brothers.. we don't hate... so go on believing that garbage if you want.. if you really want to be informed on Christianity read the Bible (new testament).. otherwise stop asking questions which propagate the hatred...

peace.. and may God bless you...

Christians who condemn people to Hell without first telling people of God's love for them are not true Christians. I have been friends with 6 atheists for the last 8 years, and never have I condemned them to Hell. Why? Because Jesus came to love and provide a chance for Eternal Life. Jesus came to seek and to save the lost with kindness and truth. As a Christian, I believe that those who have not truly accepted Jesus will go to Hell, and I also believe that God is a merciful god and provides thousands of second-chances.

God knows what the contents of a person's heart really are, meaning that some "Christians" won't get to Heaven.

Satin Sheets, come on now! You can't go judging people because they are uneducated. Just walk away! Ignorance is the number one killer all over the world. Now from a personal stand point, I am a Christian and I have a problem with BAD DOCTRINE! I believe people would do better if they knew better. I don't like bad doctrine, and anyone who doesn't try to test their faith and educate themselves about who and what they are following. But I don't bad mouth these people and if they get pushy and rude I simply don't talk to them anymore. I don't mind hanging around people who don't feel the same way I do about the word of God, so we just talk about something else and stay away from the topic and try to be civilized adults. Life too short. People have to work out their own salvation.

Most do because they have been brainwashed to blindly believe they are the only ones right, my family is exactly like that. They especially hate to see themselves in front of a *proven* lie. I'm a Christian but I know how most of mainstream Christianity beliefs were developed so I don't follow them.

No. If I did, I wouldn't be married to an agnostic, and I wouldn't have two Wiccans as two of my best friends.

I do NOT condemn anyone to hell....though I have been known to say that unless the members of the Westboro Baptist Church repent, that's where they're going. Everyone else though...who am I to judge?

of course not, why in the world would you think that. im a fourteen yr. old christian, i respect others beliefs. but i do believe that being a christian is the right religion. i am very careful around people with other religions not to say something offensive. but friends i know, that do not have a religion, i try to invite to church activites. oh, and no christian has every condemed someone to hell, if they have they arent a christian, because as a christian it is GOD's decision whether to send someone to hell, and it is also in our religion never to judge others for their sins, because we are all sinners, and none of us deserve to go to heaven. thank GOD we have such a forgiveful GOD!!!!!!!!!!

Every one has a right to believe in whom ever and whatever they want to. A christian can not hate no one. Our creator is LOVE. We as Christians must love everybody otherwise we lie and the truth is not in us. Christians are known because they have passed from darkness into light and they love everybody.

I am associated with Jehovah's Witnesses, and although I do believe that I have found the right religion, I certainly don't hate ANYONE, for any reason, especially differences in religion. If I am truly practicing my religion, I won't espouse any sort of hatred, be it religious, racial, financial, or anything else mankind finds to hate one another about. Jesus gave us two commandments in Matthew... love Jehovah God with all your heart, soul, mind and body, and love your fellow man as yourself... and I try with all my heart to follow those commandments.

Us Christians don't condemn! We don't choose who goes to hell and heaven. God does. And we don't hate people that don't believe our religion. They are just as equal as we are and we look at them the same. God says to accept everybody.

They don't equate condemning others to hell, as being hate. It's convenient for them because they can say that you put yourself there, not them, but yep that's where you're going alright. That way it's not THEM sending you to hell, it's yourself. No, they don't understand how hateful this is.

Then they try the old "hate the sin but love the sinner" thing, and it is total bull. It is impossible to hate something about a person without that hate seeping in for the person themself because that is the very nature of hate, that's what it DOES. Anyone who says differently is lying or blind.

The whole of Christianity is built on hate, I believe. It talks about love, but it teaches hatred, and its history has been the most murderous and dangerous to life, limb, property, and the earth in the history of any religion since history began recording religions. Yes, they hate others who don't believe as they do, ask all the Jews and the native peoples of every continent who have been burned at the stake, slaughtered, or forced to convert to Christianity and give up their own culture and beliefs under threat of death. The cross is a symbol of TERRORISM for a great deal of the people of the world.

It's also extremely hateful to teach the twisted doctrine of Original Sin to children - that they are born filthy like rags and are not worthy of God's love, and that they can do nothing themselves to fix this condition but must believe in a bloody human virgin sacrifice for sin, and pour his blood all over them in order to be saved. It sounds like something out of Nightmare on Elm Street or something.

I believe this teaching of Christians to be pure child abuse, emotional and mental child abuse, to be indoctrinated with such a hateful and cruel teachings. I am very very grateful that I was born Jewish and we do not have any such teaching like this. I cannot imagine a Jewish mother telling her child that he or she is nothing but a filthy rag who isn't worthy of God's love, it's simply unimaginable.

If you are addressing fundies, say so. It's not a big word or tough to spell. Personally I'm a Catholic. I couldn't care less if anyone "shares" our beliefs or not,and we certainly don't go around telling people they will burn in hell. Ever heard the word "diverse"? Yeah? O.k. Christianity is like that. Diverse.
