I never saw anything extraordinary about them. They're just people. I never saw any indication of any vast contribution to humanity, never saw any reason to imagine they are gifted with superior intellect. Now it turns out - in addition to fundies - even atheists think jews are superior beings. Why?

because our society has been brainwashed (as you can see from the above answers) in just about every way into believing that "the holocaust" was really as bad they are told...and that they really are "God's chosen people"...yeah right, more like Hitler's chosen people...everything a Jew does, says, thinks can be summed up into one word "holocaust"...or as i like to call it "holocaustenstein"...Howard Stern, Jerry Springer, Ron Jeremy, Hugh Hefner, Al Goldstein...oh yes the kings of smut are "God's chosen people"...wake up...

I am a Christian, and I believe that the Jews were Gods chosen people. But to be honest, I've never heard anyone talk about Jews being superior beings.

The only way Jews are special is in the belief they were chosen to walk a certain path. That is not to say others are not also special, they just walk a different path than Jews do. One is no better and no worse than the other, just different.

Well, okay....but how about this?

Jewish Nobel Prize winners in the U.S.

In Chemistry -- 28%
In Economics -- 51%
In Literature -- 27%
In Physics -- 38%
In Medicine -- 42%
and 37% of the winners of the U.S. National Medal of Science...all this while being 2% of the population of the U.S.

Nah...not special at all...

People who are jewish are like other people. I am NOT jewish, so I am not sure on the answer. What makes a person special, is if that person treats other with respect.

Well actually a lot of famous nobel award winning people were jewish, such as einstein and many more. And Jews overall do very well in school, and they must have some intelligence since they are a 1st world country in the Middle East. As for the athiest part, idk. people usually think Jews are special because they were the 1st people to communicate with God and to believe in God.

Because my two best lovers were both Jewish. Kind, thoughtful, considerate, gentlemen. Both taught me much about the nature of love. That's why I think Jews are special.

Maybe it's the Kabalah that does it.

Wait, what? Sources? I highly doubt anyone - especially an atheist - would see people who follow a specific religion superior.
