Yes i leave my slow cooker on all day approx. 8 hours. then I'm home and the food is done and ready to go. All i have to do is serve it up. It's like a cook was there while i was gone and left right before i got there. perfect.

A slow cooker is another name for a crock pot I'm guessing (that's what we call them here), and I know that crock pots can be left unattended for hours and hours.

Yes. I've done it plenty. That what makes it so useful. You can cook while you're doing other things.

Yes it is. They use only a small amount of electricity and don't produce a lot of heat like a broiler or electric kettle does.

I do it all the time..just on low and make sure there is enough fluid in the crock pot so it wont boil dry

I do it all the time. Thats what they are made for! Just make sure you keep everything away from the cord and the pot. And always have it on low when your away.

I do just make sure its away from the wall
and theres a clear area around it.
