The rapture will come then the world will suffer tribulations of unimaginable proportions and after 10,000 years we will be given back our paradise.

Something else huge catastraphy wise will happen either natural or terrorist, then there will be a great spiritual revival. People will say we must get back to God. God is not pleased with us for forgetting Him. Then they will make laws that tell us HOW and When we must worship God. ANYONE who does not believe that this is right and tries to stand up against the vast majority will be branded as an enemy of the state or a terrorist and people will seek to kill/jail such individuals. Then after a time of trouble ie lack of water, resources, plagues, mother earth going haywire, people litterally being scared to death, then--Jesus will come and take the people who have been faithful to his commandments and those who have died before this time home to heaven together. The unrighteous are slain by the brightness of His Glory. After 1000 years of peace in heaven we will all come back to this earth (the 1000 years are for us to judge the dead to satisfy our curiosity that God's judements are just) When all are satisfied as such, we all come back the dead are raised back to life only to meet God's final judgement.

There is a big misconception among Christians that the earth will end in a fiery blaze. But further reading will lead you to a new heaven and a new earth. An earth restored to the earth of the garden of Eden. This will happen during the millenial reign of Jesus Christ. Earth without end, Amen!

The Bible is a clear story how the world will end.
Look at history and it will clearly show mankind will destroy himself, most likely by Atomic bombs which the Bible calls fire from Heaven as Sodom was destroyed so shall it be in the coming of the end. America dropped the first atomic bombs on Japan so it would be fitting we be the ones first to reap what we sowed upon the earth.
Genesis 19:24 Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;
Also as Moses sent plagues upon the earth; Exodus 9:23
And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.
Also as Elijah sent fire from Heaven; 2 Kings 1:10
And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.
2 Kings 1:14 Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.
Fire from Heaven seems a common way of Judgment upon mankind. 2 Chronicles 7:1
Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house.
Luke 17:29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

I believe it will end as the Bible says. Either that or an atheist will push the button and nuke the world just to get back at the Christians for telling him he going to hell.

Asteroids, the sun going red giant, a pulse from a dying star, a black hole, etc..
The end of the world as we know it: nuclear, biological or chemical warfare, a pandemic, ecological breakdown from abuse of the planet's resources, etc.

The sun will start the super-nova process and expand to about the size of the orbit of Mars. The earth will be consumed by this.

The sun will eventually go super nova... whether man will still exist on the planet when that happens is debatable...
