the only thing that you need to be sure of when storing hay is that it will stay totally dry. if it gets wet or damp there is a potential for it to spontaneously combust. no i am not kidding. the hay will start to ferment and decompose causing heat, which if is in the center of the bale and has no where to escape it can become hot enough to start a fire. also make sure it is kept away from bugs or rodents that my get into it. hay is good for about a year but i personally wouldn't push it longer than that. also ifyou have the chance try and open up the bale to check for heat or dampness( for the above mentioned reasons) and for dead rodents that may have accidentally got caught up in the bale during the bailing process(yes, sad i know) if you do find an animal in there do not feed any of the hay to your bunny because it could cause botchalism and death.( both of these are unlikely to happen but for you and your bunny's safety i thought you should know) hope this doesn't freak you out lol, and i hope this narrows down potential spots to put the hay

"Heavy petting" is an old-fashioned way of saying "making out."
"Petting" refers to petting or stroking, like petting a cat or dog, but in this case petting/groping/stroking another person. "Heavy" indicates that you're doing it very intently or seriously, not just a light idle caress.
