I love my boyfriend more than anything in the world. We've been together a year and a bit, with our ups and downs.Recently,it feels like we've fallen in love all over again and we've never been happier.Tonight we were at the cinema, when this advert came on about how the new lynx deodrant makes 'nice girls naughty',and he says jokingly,'aw i wear it & it doesnt work'.and i said what is that supposed to mean?I felt really annoyed, because everything is amazing, and i dont get complaints, usually the opposite.am i just over-reacting?

You're a little sensitive to his comments because as you said, you've both experienced ups and downs and you genuinely thought things were getting better but his comment suggested otherwise. He was probably kidding, but he should have been sensitive enough to your feelings to explain that. I don't think it was an "over-reaction" on your part (because yours was a valid question), but I doubt it's very significant either. Sometimes we speak before thinking things through well enough...I'll bet this was one of those times.

You're over-reacting. A good reaction would have been to say something like "Oh yeah? Are you wearing it now??" and then attack him with kisses and pretend you had the Lynx effect.

Yes, you are over-reacting. He was just joking with you like he said he was. You could have turned it around and told him ... "well then, why don't you try my deodorant and see if boys become naughty". :)

nah he's just being a jerk-guy. They tend to do that. I'd be mad too. Just tell him if you're not "naughty" enough for him then he should go find a slut that will cheat on him.

i don't know if you are overreacting but you should talk to your boyfriend about it. Maybe he didn't know you would feel that way if he made a comment as such.

I think he sorta meant he wants you to be a little
