Has anyone ever gone throught an emancipation? I want to know what it is like so i can prepare myself. I am getting an emanciaption this summer and i want to know what are some key factors in having the courts approval for the emanciapation

yes, my son checked into this because he didn't want 2 live by my rules. In order to qualify for emancipation you have 2 prove to a judge that you can live like an adult. You have 2 b able to keep a job(same job), You can't have problems with the law. They look at your past. Wether you went 2 school on a steady bases. If you have even been in trouble. They want to know how and you have 2 prove that you can financially support yourself. That's a big step and I'm not in your shoes but I wish the best for you.

you have to be able to prove that you can work a job and make enough money to live alone- with no help
