Usually people don't cheat if they have what THEY think is a good spouse, not what others perceive as perfect.
If they do really love the one they're with and still cheat, then its an underlying problem that has nothing to do with the spouse and everything to do with the cheater.

Men and women do that EXACT same thing. Does not matter if they are male or female. An other may think in their own mind that they are the prefect mate when they are actually not. It is up to the cheater to express what the issue or issues may be. If the other side thinks that there may be an issue arising, they need to calmly sit down and discuss what thing or things that they need to do or try to make the soon to be cheater happy and content as they can. This discussion should take place even if no one thinks a cheat is going to happen.

That is one heck of a question. I have often wondered about that myself cos it happens in the opposite as well. Women often cheat on good guys.
My take is that good people get cheated on because somehow good people can be taken advantage of easily. I guess the cheaters temptation to take advantage of the trust gets too great.
But with that said men and women cheat for different reasons but that's another topic in itself

I am a man and I believe that some men are actually addicted to cheating. It may be the rush of it all, but some men "have cheesecake at home and they go out for jello", and they just can't stop on their own. I think that qualifies as an addiction.

It is just that it is a scientific fact that men think about sex more than women do, and I think that is why men cheat. As far as why they like to cheat, it is because they are only thinking of themselves and not the person they are cheating on. Also men do not have to worry about getting pregnant, women do, so they just do whatever---some of them are pretty much just sperm providers! Most just think with their genitals.

i think atimes they don't really mean to cheat their spouse or girlfriend but something lead to another,like a simple attraction or good gesture and within a very short time a special relationship got developed. i'm experiencing a similar thing now and afraid it could lead to cheating.

being a good spouse or g.f does not guaranty you anything....
it is how you take care or love your man that seals the deal...
as in how do you satisfy him in every aspect of his needs...
but I say once a cheat always a cheat.... unless that person been renewed and sanctified by GOD then that would be different...

Mostly because it gives them a feeling of satisfaction, like they've still got it. With some guys, it dosen't matter who they're married to, if they're gonna cheat, they're gonna cheat. They could be married to Pamela Anderson and they'd still feel the need to prove to themselves they they can still attract women.

Because an egomaniac never thinks "good enough" is good enough...they're always seeking out something better...and frankly. who wants an egomaniac? I'd rather find out what they're like early in the relationship, so I can get out with the least amount of suffering!

Have no answer for that, been loyal to my beautiful wife for 26 years now, never wanted to or needed to. Sorry do not understand the reasoning myself
