Okay... I'm in middle school and most people my age at my old school that were gonna get braces had already had them, but not me. I have to loose my molars, but I'm not sure I will, because my brother, who has had his braces, retainer, and his wisdom teeth pulled has never lost a molar. I want to only get braces on my front teeth, cause I think that even if I do loose my molars that my front teeth will only need to have braces. How do I convince my parents?

Also, my friend had braces, and our school colors are green and yellow, she got them, and they look horrible, but I will go to a dif. ortha than her, so is it worth getting yellow and green?

Also, what colors can you get, and how many can you get at a time?

I would recommend asking your parents what the dentist has said about your teeth and whether you need braces or not. If they ask why tell them that you are concerned about possible problems with your front teeth (an overbite is a big reason for why someone needs to wear braces, I wore them for a year and a half).

Then when you do go to the orthodontist and you get the spacers to see how to make the braces fit they may ask about colors you want. As for yellow and green I agree that depending on the kind of green it is when it comes to shade would look terrible.

If I had to go for braces again I would wear pink, purple, and blue, or something like that.

If you have more questions for me about my experiences with braces please feel free to e-mail or IM me privately any time.

hmmt! I never thought I needed braces but hey I was in the sixth grade and not an orthodontist. I always thought this guy knows what he's doing don't question. Now I look back and ew! I'm so glad I got braces.

Everybody's teeth are different I had 4 teeth pulled your brother was probably to young and didn't have enough teeth to even consider having more than one pulled.

I would suggest staying away from greens, yellows, pink, and anything else that could make it look like some food is caught in your braces.

Holly what your peers consider can not topic if you want braces and do not get them it might intent a few terrible soreness to the overlapping enamel as you grow older. Your roots begin bumping in combination and boy do I consider that soreness!!!!!! Don't forget your enamel. Here's my propose: Do no longer do the transparent!! Why? The transparent is apparent and just about invisible however they're very cumbersome and may also be noticeable baring for your lips whilst you mouth is near. I have the constant steel braces with silver bands, they combo with the steel they usually slightly bulge! Good success!

I wouldn't recommend getting them until you lose your molars. I had braces for three years. They said my wisdom teeth wouldn't be a problem. Well they grew towards my teeth instead of up so they were pushing all my teeth forward. My teeth started to shift just a couple of months from getting my braces off. Now I'm an adult and need to get braces again!

you can not get braces only on the front teeth. yellow and green are probably not so good to get on your teeth. at least together.
