Illegal aliens are killing more Americans than the Iraq war, says a new report from Family Security Matters that estimates some 2,158 murders are committed every year by illegal aliens in the U.S. The group says that number is more than 15 percent of all the murders reported by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in the U.S.

Some good answers, my son came home from Iraq intact, although he has a non combat related back injury. I have also lost friends to illegals driving while intoxicated... info on traffic deaths seems not to be available, statistic wise.

I have tried to find some good stats on DUI related traffic deaths charged to illegals to present to you, but this seems to be a "don't ask, don't tell" policy among our law officers.

A program for hiring agg workers has been in existance for 30 years, it requires paying them prevailing wages.
But, because it is cheaper for the employer to hire illegal workers, the program has been underused. In fiscal year 2004, there were 22,141 legal entries by agricultural workers using H-2A visas.

So far it is 8 to 5 that think illegal immigration is more a problem than the War. Is the problem that information on the war is much easier to get than information on the illegal problem?... is it the GOP started the War & the Democrats are pushing for amnesty & more illegals? chuckle A.D. & David seem to have no idea what the question was.

not only the killing crimes, but the driving without insurance (the victims get nothing for their injuries and car damage), the people bringing in diseases and epidemics (we have to pay for additional immunizations and vaccinations).

I know a woman who got rear ended by an illegal around 6 yrs ago and she was pregnant. (After trying desparately for years to have a baby) She lost the baby at 8 months and also the car was totalled. She lost her job and became disabled with damage to her back. Her marriage failed because of stress and the loss of the baby. She got NOTHING because of course the illegal had no insurance. The illegal got 3 months jail time and deported.

With the new bill, what would he get? Just the jail time?

The iraq war is just as illegal as illegal immigrants. As a person who has personally been affected by the death of someone serving in Iraq, I believe that the Iraq war is hurting this country on a scale that no one can possibly know until someone they care for dies for it.

Both are hurting us but the war, money wise and loss of man power. Prestige is another thing we are losing. I am tired of little minds in Washington telling us lies. They sure would not want me as a leader, I would end the war and close the border. If any one outside the country objected to it I would tell them were they can go.

I think both are problems that our President has had a chance to change and done nothing at all. He didn't listen to the wants of his constituents which is what I thought Democracy was all about. That number seems a bit high though...
