Is that why so many of you keep knocking on my door, or handing me Bibles in the street? Why is it so hard to accept that I have heard it, and I still reject it?

Hansel - That is sweet of you, but I am a married woman! ;)
edward - I can tell you plan in two languages. I have heard it enough.
silly - I was raised a Baptist. In my twenties, I learned about the things that were not taught in my religious school. In short, I was lied to by the good Christian teachers and pastors in my church.
richard - I am always up for a good conversation, but a sermon I could do without.

How can any of you believe that in the US there are still people who haven't heard about Jesus? Really, we have all heard it. You all can stop now.

I love you.
Edit: Dang it. : )
Honestly though, you are sort of right. The Bible does tell us that those who reject us followers of Jesus are really rejecting Him and we are to simply shake the dust off our feet as we leave. It is sad, but we cannot make choices for you.

If many people keep knocking on your door and others are handing you Bibles in the street there are two possibilities; and both could be true. One, God is making a serious effort to get your attention. Two, a lot of demons are attracted to you.
I know you have heard some plans of salvation before, many times, and rejected them. But, did you ever meet someone who really knew the planner?

There is a difference between hearing it, and accepting it.
I had 'Bible thumpers' blasting me for a good part of my life before I finally became a Christian. I went to church and heard the word, but I still wasn't a Christian.
Just keep open and unbiased to what Christians have to say. Hopefully you will leave the dark side of the force and become a Jedi like me:)

Because if you heard and you understood, you would be one. They don't have the concept of anybody not believing. That's why many of them say "you KNOW you believe in god" And sense we KNOW, it must be we haven't heard it enough times. If they could hit us over the head with those same bibles they would probably be doing it.

No, I don't believe that you haven't heard it.
However, I have met people who haven't.
By the way, I don't knock on ANYONE'S door, nor do I hand out Bibles to random people anywhere.

If you've heard that the only way anyone is likely to discern and achieve their true eternal destiny is through a lifetime of full and active participation in all of the work, worship, sacraments, and devotions of the Church, and you don't believe it, than what's your backup plan? And what's the one for your children's eternal security?

God is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, however, it is your choice whether you accept or reject the message of salvation. You reject at your peril. As Christians, we don't want any to perish either, and we want everyone to come to know the Lord, for He is worth getting to know.
Only a step to Jesus
So why not take it now
Come with your sins confessing
To Him, and humbly bow.
Only a step, Only a step
Come, He waits for thee
Come with your sins confessing
You will receive a blessing
Do not reject the mercy
He freely offers thee.

YES! Seriously good point! This is so annoying. They can't grasp the fact that some of us might actually know MORE about religion than they do, yet we CHOOSE to reject it rather than to believe it just because our parents/friends/neighbors believe.
