I went thru this with my sons at a much earlier age. I don't believe it was anything sexual but just disrespect of privacy. I simply sat down with them and explained that everyone has to have privacy and when they walked in our room/bathroom without knocking it was considered disrespectful. I've only had 2 get ugly about it 1 time. They are older now and we never have that problem. We even give them the same respect. As far as your son being 13. Well if you've never had to deal with this issue before, now is the time to get it under control. If he won't stop. Then he needs consequences. Locks are an excellant solution but he also needs to learn boundaries. Take charge mom and Good luck!

my oldest did that too. he didn't walk in on me changing but there were a million life or death situations when i was in the shower.i thought that would be the one place i could have some alone time. boy was i wrong. in his case, it wasn't curiosity,at that age the idea of your mom being a sexual person is just gross. it was more that he didn't think of me as a person at all. whatever he wanted was more important than anything else. " i want to know what's for dinner. i'll think i'll go ask" the fact that i was showering never even crossed his mind. that or he new i'd be a captive audience. i think if thats whats going on, it's normal.

Sexual curiosity is common to us all, and it sounds like you're pretty relaxed about it. If you think it's going to be a problem, there's not even any need to speak about it. Just lock the door.

And make sure you keep your security settings on your PC at an appropriate level.

You tell him he is NEVER EVER to enter your room or the bathroom when you're in there and if he does, you will beat his ***. Invest in locks.
