directed towards christians and athiests. they aren't the only beliefs. there aren't many about other religions from what i've seen. and i'm not calling atheism a religion.

Those 2 'religions' might have the more vocal people (in numbers) on here presently.Do not be surprised to find soon that atheism is a religion though; the god of man/self. That is also one of the challenges for Christianity prersently; especially in USA. (majority rules versus purity rules).

Probably because christianity is the most predominant religion in the English speaking world. If we were on Yahoo-Iran, it might be about Islam. Also, there are a lot of atheists who are against Christianity controlling our thinking - toward birth control, same sex marriage, abortion rights and so on.
Like someone mentioned, there's debate going on in this board between Christians and atheists.

Christianity is the dominate religion and also the pushiest. It also has a large number of factions, such as Caholic, Protestant, Mormon, JW's, etc. Not many Hindu's get in my face and try to preach to me. I can't say that about Christianity.
Atheists are sick and tired of people getting in our face about their religions so now we have to fight back.

yes but as usually the Christians like to be over-dramatic and turn this forum in good vs evil , believer vs unbeliever , theist vs atheist
so they attack us with incredibly stupid questions/answers which in turn annoys most atheist and we strike back
i do recognize that they are other religions and i have answered their questions but this feud continues and takes a lot of space
