We are all unique individuals with certain likes/dislikes in all facets of our life. For me, it is very simple there are some people who are attracted to both sexes, same sex and opposite sex, why ? I haven't a clue. It is what it is. Bottom line we all need to accept and respect all individuals regardless of sexual orientation. To me it is a non issue, I don't judge or ask someone if they are heterosexual why would I judge someone who was homosexual or bisexual. Bottom line, it's none of my business. Sexuality does not affect talent, intellect, ability to love, ability to respect or ablility to persue any career without exception.

I'm by nature bisexual... however I think most bisexuals have a slightly greater attraction to one or the other of the sexes. I guess I am attracted to people I find special and what seems right at the time... it's not just about being attracted to somebody's sex.
I have been in a monogamous gay relationship for some years now and I'm settled but previously I suppose I had serial monogamous relationships with both guys and girls anything from 6 months to several years.
I tried menage a trois a couple times I guess... interesting but always somebody gets a bit left out in that situation and it becomes emotionally messy too...three really is a crowd, so I decided it was not for me although in theory you imagine it would be the perfect scenario for a bisexual person, for me no.

I'm not sure I can be 'specific,' but I'll try some kind of response. My 'opinion' of bisexuality is the same as my opinion of other sexual orientations: consenting adults are perfectly free to express their affections for each other in any way they choose. I am of the mind that more men and women than we think have bisexual feelings and that if society had traveled a less restrictive path, such as the hold which regressive, primitive religion places upon otherwise intelligent human beings, bisexuality would be the norm, that it would not be given a second thought. I am old, I am 71, and I pretty much express myself as I wish, but I am aware that my view is not shared by the mainstream.

Well, I certainly enjoy it. And since I'm an atheist, I can indulge in my tastes for both men and women without any hang-ups.
I really don't concern myself with if it's natural or not. Honestly if a person could prove that this stems from something that happened in my childhood and not some strange thing going on in my DNA, I'd still wouldn't care.
And if silly people think it's a sin, so be it. In fact being called a sinner always gives me a funny tingle of pleasure.

According to Kinsey, approx. 10% of humans are gay, 10% are straight, and the other 80% fall somewhere in between. I don't know how accurate that is, but maybe the people who say that being bisexual is not natural should read some of his writing before they judge.

Another wonderful aspect to human nature, and they get twice the choice.
Thought I'd share a funny incident that happened to me, after all you've probably heard a lot of euphemisms for sexuality.
Friend: You know he shops with two trolleys?
Me: You mean he's bisexual?
Friend: God no! He's fat.

I think humans are sexual beings, and our sexuality is a continuum. Some people think its black-and-white, gay-or-straight, but it isnt. We all fall somewhere on line from gay to straight, and most of us are closer to one side than another but no one is exactly in the middle. Before christianity, ancient societies had no concept of homo or heterosexuality. Everyone was sexual with everyone. Its our nature...its just not not seen as "normal" in today's society and that is why there is so much stigma around it.

I have no problems with bisexuality. I think it is a natural state for a segment of the population and people shouldn't be ashamed of their sexuality.

I'll agree with Big Bang on the fact that sometimes I do tend to sway towards one gender or the other, but as long as I'm happy and my partner is happy, that's all that matters in the end.
