Well Ginny it certainly worked for my new wife and I. We had a long distance relationship for over 3 years and just walked down the aisle on May 20 of this year. LDR are certainly a lot of work but if both partners are 100% with each other then they will be stronger than relationships where people see each other whenever they want. It's true, absence does make the heart grow founder. Best of luck in your relationship also.

i am in a long distance relationship right now.it gets hard at times but it will work.we've been together for 5 months now and we are planning on getting married soon.

I've been in 2 long distance relationships. They failed. Apparently they both had the same disease. It is called, "Out of sight, out of mind" disease.
