Try talking to the board of education or the school superintendant instead of the school employees. If you threaten to press charges they will probably listen.

Document each and every time with the date and the area of the bruise. Present your findings after each month to the school. There are stories where kids have bruises and people report YOU to DFACs, when you did not do anything.

I can't believe they would say this to you. Then the first time your kid fights back, he will be the one in trouble and kicked out of school.

What he needs to do is tell someone right when it happens and get a friend as a witness. Most schools have a bullying issue and once the bullies are caught, they are kicked out of school.

it depends on how old he is and what kind of school it is. If he is a little kid (elementary) then contact the board of education if the school does nothing. If he is older then he needs to stand up for himself. Going to their parents will make it worse. Teach him to defend himself. Boxing, karate, mma. Most bullies won't pick on kids that defend themselves.

It is different if it is a bad school and the kids are more than bullies. You don't want him trying to fight a bunch of gangsters. In a case like that you need to contact the police. I don't know where you live but there are a few schools where i live that fights are all between rival gangs. Don't get him involved in any of that.

Start making detailed notes about the injuries he has and what he reports back to you as to how he acquired them. If he names particular people all the better. You should also approach the school again and make it clear to them that they have a responsibility for the safety of your child and that you have full records to demonstrate that they have been negligent in that regard. You should also consider taking a private prosecution against the perpetrators and inform the school that you intend to take this action. Also say that you have no qualms about making a full report to your local news media - especially given that you are finding it difficult to obtain a proper response from the school to your reports of bullying.

Call the School Board or whomever the school administrators report to.
Have you spoken to your son yet? Won't he tell you who is picking on him? Can you call their parents?
Have you thought about letting your boy handle this himself? In a non-violent way, if possible.
Maybe it's time for Karate lessons, or some other type of activity to help your son realize he is not a punching bag.

And there right, its not the schools responsibility, its yours you are the Parent. Teach him some self defense and diplomacy both work. If it continues then law enforcement needs to be brought in on the bullies not the school.

Find out who these kids are take it up with their parents, if they don't do anything bring it up with the head of the schools in your county/ school district. I would also suggest removing your child from the that school.

Having his "mommy" run to the school or talk to their parents will only make it worse. He'll look like a wimp and a momma's boy. Get him involved in a martial arts and/or self defense class. He needs to be able to stand up to them or he will be a target his whole life.
