this guy and i dated and i really care about him. He is a good Christian man just what i wanted in a friend and beyond. We thought we were moving too fast and so we slowed down. Then he told me that althought he loved me, he was not in love with me. To save face, i agreed and so we remained friends, hanging out just as before. But because it's harder for me i could not just hang out and just be friends. There is no sex involved because we both are Christian and we wait for marriage, but i am having a really hard time with the break up and i told him i thought he would be better with another girl from the same church, so i got them together. and i just can't seem to get him off my mind or out of my heart.
what should i do now? the other girl and i were just starting to become friends but i sense an attraction between them some time ago and everytime they are around each other.

You proved your metal and strength in giving your love and preserving you strength. Don't concern your self with people who do not deserve you love.

Your day will come with more love than you can imagine

i don't want to be mean, but why would you push him into the arms of another girl? maybe because you wanted him to see your not interested anymore? who knows. but you need to talk to him and tell him how you feel. it sounds like if he wanted to get something with you and when you slowed it down, he saw he wouldn't get it and so maybe that's why he told you that. Just talk to him and tell him you really care about him. Talking is the best way for people to understand eachother. If your shy, write a letter. Make it detailed and don't leave anything out, he'll understand you better and actually, he won't have a chance to shut you up and make you forget what you were going to say.

Well if you dont say something to him about how you feel, you're going to regret it for the rest of your life. He may be feeling the same way but worried you don't feel the same way for him. Take a risk. He may say he doesn't love you like that but then you move on. It'll be hard but it's something he should know and it's going to kill you if you don't say something. I've had good reactions when I've told guys how I've really felt. Good luck but remember, don't get your hopes up. Be prepared for any answer he may give you.

He is the one who told you he loved you but like a friend... the Christian thing to do is to let go and let him fall in love with another and move on with his life. This will hurt for awhile but trust in God and let him take control over your own emotions. God is our comfort, and envy is never becoming. Have love for both of them, in a Christian way, and let go of it all..... Put God first and seek his help, its probably better this way coz everything works out in the end for the best.

You didn't give him away. He told you he was not in love with you. You need to focus on something else and someone else. Stop clinging to the idea that he will somehow mend his ways and see you in a different way other than friends, believe me he won't. Move on and find new people to mingle with and find a new boyfriend.

It was inevitable. The man doesn't love you, so move on with your life. If you're all good people, why should this destroy a friendship?

You don't "give someone away" as if he's your property. He wasn't right for you and he left. Stop trying to play god with other people's lives.
