Beef - Spaghetti Bolognese to be exact. It's so simple and it tastes great. All I need is some beef, some onions, garlic, mushrooms, pasta sauce (or plain tomato sauce which I will jazz up if I have time) and the pasta and I am good to go. I'm leaving work in half an hour and I'll be eating about an hour from now. Cooks up pretty quickly.

The easiest and most nutritious food I cook are casseroles. I buy a small amount of the best and leanest meat I can get then I put in onions, carrots, maybe a parsnip, celery, toms, and anything else that looks good; pop in a stock cube or 2 and then simmer slowly for an hour or so. With gammon I put in chilli flakes, lots and lots of coloured peppers and fresh pineapple plus all the above veg. Keeps in the fridge up to 4 days and gets better the longer it is kept. Get a bowl put in as much as you want and microwave. Great when you come in late from work.

I have been cooking for between 2 and 8 people for 35 years. The thing I cook most often has changed over time of course, but year in and year out, the favorite, most nutritious and easist is soup (homemade, all kinds).
Runner-ups are chicken and biscuits, pot roast, and spaghetti.
Right now we're all about fresh vegetables and whole grains.

i love to cook, but i cook very fattening, like the more cheese the better the more butter you get it, one of my best is angel hair pasta with bob evans hot sausage (in the roll-the red one) stir up the sausage maybe throw in some extra onion, mushrooms and add your favorite spaghetti sauce, cook the angel hair toss that with real butter and garlic then put a dollop of the sausage sauce with fresh parmesan cheese on it, great garlic toast, a nice salad some good wine, and maybe some homemade cheesecake with a side of blueberry's or strawberrys, with some good thai chi, or gourmet coffee, now this is just like a wednesday night thing, it's get's much better, tune in next week for the football sunday chilli that's topped with sourcream, chives, black olive, and some frito's very good, the boys will love it quick appetizer get some water chesnuts wrap some bacon around them tooth pick them put them in a pan pour bbq sauce over them just untill it reach's the middle of the tooth pick bake 425 untill bacon is cooked, makes a great appetizer
