DRINK!

Don't you know this is a place where people of all different opinions can come to ask questions? What makes you think you have a monopoly on the category? Don't let your temporary political power in america convince you that you rule the world.

I apologize if we appear to be monopolizing this category, we in no way want to come across that way. I think we enjoy the interaction with different faiths and this is a great way to interact.

Why does it matter to you? I'm not a fundamentalist, but what business is it of yours as to why anyone is here?

I didn't know they had a monopoly here.

Temporary political power? We know whose side your on.
Now, your trying to get a political debate going in R&S. Wrong category.

We all come here for 'pleasent' discussion.

I'm am surprised you feel the way you do. It is as if you don't believe that Judeao-Christianity has any right to come and express our viewpoint in the "Religion" section. Seing how Christianity is one of the fastest growing "religions" in the world.

As far as your idea of "temporary political power" and our "ruling the world" go I for one could care less about politics or power within the government system. The bible is explicit in that all governments are established by God, and as man has the free will to take what he gives and use it for good or for corruption. I take part in the election process, but that is as far as I can go. I choose the best candidate I can based on their promise of moral intergity, but truthfully all (both dems and reps) have fallen short of their promisies.

However, "GOD", regardless if you accept it or not, IS IN CONTROL!!! He rules now, and will make His invisible rule visible very soon. If I die before I see it (I'm 47 now) it won't matter, cause those of us that are in Christ look forward to the promise of His Kingdom, regardless if we are alive in the flesh or alive in the spirit, and we really don't have much use for this world as it is.

God gave man a great planet, gave us dominion over it, and we have infact sinned against His creation, by over using it, and taxing it's resources to the brink of not having anymore clean air, forests, and water. We have exploited it's resources and now we are paying the price. No one can escape, "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". Have you ever notice how some of our space endeavours have failed, God never intended for us to be space dwellers.

I love space exploration, and the idea of traveling to other worlds, but we were not designed to do that and it's begining to show. (disasters in shuttle missions, glitches in computers on space stations...etc). Running away to Mars in not going to solve our problems. The billions of dollars spent on those pipe dreams could be better spent on how to heal our inner cities, and help or homeless here in the US. But they are disposable and usless people right? And even if the powers to be get the chance to go to Mars, they wont take "those people" will they. The only consolation we can have is to know that if we ask for forgiveness God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. And give some of us the ability to have compassion (regardless of faith or not, yes I know there are non-faith based groups trying to help the homeless and inner cities)

So in additiopn to our giving at church, and the participation we have time for to help, I'm also content to come here in this section and express my viewpoint of my spiritual relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, not out of baddgering, but out of Love. For the Love that he has shown to me is also available to you. Read the Bible, don't just take my word for it. Ask God to help you with His Holy Spirit to interperate the scripture, and take it into you heart soul mind and spirit. "He has invited you to taste and see, the living water that can set you free..."

God bless

We can do nothing more than what we do for the cause of Christ. We would hate to see you go to hell. The Apostle Paul was of the same mind when it came to the salvation of souls.

If all the fundamentalists were coming here, there would be a lot more people here than there are.

If fundamentalists have evolved from religions, Catholicism for starters, then why are there still those religions? (double swig)
