i was going out with this guy. we lasted like 2 years but suddenly people started telling him i was cheatying on him. he asked me if it was true and i said no. so it went ok like in 2 months he broke up with me. later on i asked him why? and he said because almost EVERYONE told him that. i still like him how can i get him back. plus he told me he still loves me but is afraid it might be true.

Welll...there must be sumone that doesnt like you and that person is spreading rummors about you and have negative thoughrs about you and since so many people know the wrong info well he's kinda stuck but you should find out who is spreading those nasty rumors!

trust is key element in a relationship if he cant trust you he's insecure and thats not a very good quality in a man.He has no evidence you cheated on him so he wasnt sure or confident on what you had, I mean 2 years is a lot of time to get to know someone and if you had dated for so long that meant you were ready for the next step, and commitment might of scared him a little bit cause hes insecure or not ready and maybe used what people were saying as an excuse to get out of it.Doesnt mean he doesnt love you but he doesnt know what he wants yet. He shouldnt let other people get in the way of u 2.Just tell him how you feel and see what happens....ask him why do u believe what they said if they havent given u prove, or have they?

Do you really want to be with a guy who believes what everyone else has to say over your truth? Step back for a little bit and make sure you don't just want him back because you were comfortable being in a relationship.

Live the truth, as you have done all the time. If he does not trust you it is his problem. He should believe in you, at least until he catches you lying/cheating. And he has not, because there is not anything to discover!!
Tell him this. And remember, you are innocent until the contrary has been proved. It is valid in court, and it should be valid in real life.

Move on, This happened to me only luckly my boyfriend at the time gave me benefit of the doubt, it also happned vice versa and i trusted him, people r vicious, and jealous usually of wat u have, any how he is now my husband and we have been together 9years!
But this guy mustnt trust u if hes believeing other people over u, and if u get back together without the trust it will always come up again in rows and stuff....so i know its prob not wat u want to hear but let him go find sum1 that will trust u!!!

my edvice is dont try to get him back tell him that if he doesnt trust you that thats the best thing to do tell him he should have told you how he felt and sorry that after so many years together he cant realize how strong your love is compared to some rumor someone started to break you up

He obviously couldn't trust you. He obviously didn't want to trust you. Which tells me he didn't have enough respect for you to do that. Find someone who you are interested in at first, and who can learn to trust YOU and not what everyone else says about you.

You can get him back!simply stay away from other guys and stay single Prove our not a hoe by your actions.Stay single for a month or two if need be.Even if he dates others.Rumors and gossips suck and have ruined relationships of mine but by stayng single he will think twice I gaurantee.

Was it true? You havent admitted it - if it was then I dont blame him and he may never have you back. If all those people were lying then you need to convinve him to believe in you.
I think in honesty you have lost him through your own fault.
