I got a Monte Carlo with the doors welded shut so I have to enter through the windows, a new set of good years slicks, took the passenger seat out, put on a quick disconnect steering wheel, and headlight stickers in place of real headlights.
Fire suit and roll cage is on order.
NOT
would be fun though.

But my dog is named Junior

My entry way has a 3'x5' Dale Sr. flag and a shelf with 2 rotating 2' glass displaay cases full of dale sr. and jr. memorabilia (2 shelves for Jeff Gordon for my husband). My living room has a plant shelf in the vaulted ceiling full of nascar cars, ornaments and memorabilia, and the shelves above my computer are full of nascar stuff (cups, racing sets, micromachines, beer, etc). My bedroom has a 3'x5' Jr. flag over the bed and various pix on the walls. Then on the patio I have Bud ROCK, STOCK AND READY string of #8 racing flags all around the top and a black and white checker cover on the pool table. #3 darts on the board.

Road trips are the best in our family. We see who can call a caution first when spotting debris "on the track" as we fly down the interstate. My husband and I are always putting someone we pass "down a lap" or say they are "slow coming out of the pits" if the slower car is coming out of a rest area. When we come upon a junky car, we complain about "lapped traffic". Try it, it's amazing all the different things that you will find while traveling that are race related! Last night my push mower was acting up and hubby was checking it out, first thing he told me was it sounded like I was "down a cylinder when I went by the booth". You can always tell who used the microwave last at our house by what number is still on it, #8 for me, #1 for hubby, #24 for our son and #3 if our daughter was late to use the microwave! Oh the fun of being red-necked NASCAR fans!!!!

Well, I have a Gordon seat cover and steeringwheel grip, plus I have thought of a window net.
Well, anyone who drives on the Dallas North Tollway, knows how bad I have it, when they see a flash go by and see nothing but a large 24 on the back glass... lol
Can't wait to get back to the track here in Texas in Nov.

Also working on making my own racing belts to put in the ride also. I'll be strapped in soon.

I have got into the habbit of drafting off the other cars on the highway. I'll be doing about 80 and everyone else does about 70. I get as close to 'em as I can on their bumpers and try and scrape their doors as I pull beside them. I had a 70 year old woman flip me the bird today. I hope that ain't too bad.

It wasn't like I bump drafted her though.

Hey hemihead_38

OMG I AM DIEING LAUGHING!!!! You are too much! I love it!

But IF I won the lottery (Yeah right) and all this stuff wasn't going on with Jr, my dream car would have been the Dale Jr Monte Carlo and have the famous picture of him leaning against his car with his arms folded replicated on the hood, leather interior and his signature on the dash board ..........SWEET!

Other than that as soon as I get my den back we're going to paint it black and white checkers and make it our NASCAR TV room!

lol, You know.. I have the racing bug in me pretty bad.. but nothing to extravagant has came to mind. I just try my best to live @ the dirt track on Friday and Saturday nights, and be sure not to miss the CUP race on Sunday. This question reminded me of the first time I went to Talladega though. I got to go w/ my Dad, his wife, and my young step-brother. On the way there, my Dad decided to write something on the back glass of the Tahoe since everyone else had stuff on theirs. So he wrote.. "How Bad Have YOU Got It? Cat named Junior, Dog named Petty, and Rooster named Big E."
