A red accent wall would look great..but make sure you pick a 'cool' red..one with no orangey tones..your paint store should be able to help you with that..and you will probably have to go with 2 coats of paint..and if you want something not too dark or bright try a more matte red ..that will keep it from looking to 'bright'

I would be careful.I don't know what finish your silver paint is, but the tones or the values of the paint should match , so go to a good paint shop and get someone to help you find the right match. It's a lot of work painting and you want to be sure before you start. Good luck

I am an artist and i deal with like alot of this stuff! Um that really doesnt go that well because red is very calm and relaxed yet silver is very flashy and very entergetic.... um to make the room look more modern i would put more modern furniture.... the color of the room doesnt really make the room modern... its whats in the room that makes the room modern!!!!
