why are they so scared of homosexuals and evolution? Also if Athiests are so sure there is no god why are you so scared of religion?

I'm a christian who thinks that gays should be allowed to marry and evolution should be taught in schools. If your not scared stop trying to stop these things from happening

that's a mighty wide brush you are painting Christians with. There are plenty of Christians who have no problem whatsoever with homosexuality, whereas there are also plenty of others that are fanatically against it. Same goes for evolution. As far as atheists are concerned, it's actually very simple: people fear or dislike whatever it is that contradicts or disagrees with what they think.

1. I am not scared of homosexuals, I will respect the choice they have made for there life, love is love and I can't tell people how they feel.
2. I am not scared of evolution, I just don't believe that is how the world came to exist.

I am also a Christian who thinks that homosexual's should be allowed to marry, and not only do I think evolution should be taught in schools, but I think every religion and there beliefs should be taught (not practiced) so children can see that there are many different beliefs and ways of life. Perhaps then they can be more understanding of other people.

I'm not scared or against either. I don't think homosexuality is sin, regardless of what man has written into the bible. Evolution makes sense, I believe that God created the creatures with the ablity to adapt to the world that he placed them in.
I also don't find that athiests are scared of religion. They just don't prescribe to it.

I am not scared of homosexuals or evolution. Some of my best friends have been homosexual and evolution is not true so there is nothing to be scared of. I am also not that sure that I am right. The prayer I pray most often is "Help me overcome my unbelief."

As a Christian I can assure you the general feeling towards homosexuals isn't "FEAR"... some of us feel pity or sorrow.. never fear. I fear no one but God. Evolution isn't something I fear, I just don't BUY it.. the most important factor "the missing link" or what would complete the whole THEORY, is missing. It's no where, not ONE transitional fossil of species interchanging and the evolutionary process took millions of years?...LOL.. to me it's a matter of lack of evidence and common sense. I use common sense to determine if Physical claims are valid, the same can't be applied to God, as He is an intangible being that relates to us through our spirits.

Not scared of Homosexuals. I feel bad for them. What a terrible disease. Not scared of evolution either - if God comes down and says "I made things evolve" then fine by me.

why would i be scared of homosexuals... and evolution is a load of trash, im not scared of the incorrectness of man. evolution = pathetic.... even if there wasn't a god, i would pick God over evolution big time.

To make evolution and homosexuality okay for a Christian, would be to throw out the Bible and its teachings. The word of God is how we learn about God and his Character. First of all the whole book of Genesis would need thrown out, and Leviticus.
And Timothy, which says that God wrote the Bible!
2Ti 3:16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,
2Ti 3:17 that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
We are in spiritual warfare buddy, and your job is to minimize Civilian casualties, and you are handing people over to the enemy. What is wrong with you?
If our guys in Iraq were standing in the middle of a shooting field, and another soldier had the opportunity to get him out of harms way, but didn't, that would be messed up!

What do you mean scared? Christians by definition, from the Bible:
2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?--unless indeed you fail to meet the test!
Jesus commanded us to spread the Gospel. Homosexuals are sinners who need Jesus, it is like looking at pornography, or adultery. Evolution is a religion that is deceiving many.
I can't help but share the gospel, you are my family, and I want you in heaven. To be honest I am scared for you, only because I have been in your shoes, and couldn't see the Truth.

I'm NOT scare of other people or even science. if i was scared of science i wouldn't take the medication my Dr. gave me. i dont have the time to believe that i or my family came from some monkey. i believe that we are all made in the images of God. people who chose to have a homosexual life style is doing what they what. i dont care about that. but they will have to deal with God.
