There is no such conspiracy. Science is bringing the world to new understanding and new horizons. Science, a morally neutral pursuit, does not care if God exists or not (it can neither be proven nor disproven, since God is typically defined as a supernatural entity, i.e. beyond our perceptions), it just wants to understand what we observe and to come up with new ways to do things. It is typical of fundamentalists and other religious groups to create this "us vs. them" mentality so that they are always the victims/martyrs. They just can't conceive of the possibility that their religious beliefs might be threatened or that their other beliefs might be wrong, so they immediately declare EXPERTS on other issues to be part of a conspiracy against them. It's sickening and prevents growth.

Science is not out to squelch anyone's religion. Scientists have been interested in studying the effects of certain beliefs.
I think it's these hyper neo-con "Chrustians" are paranoid personalities. Some of them should be Baker acted.
Most of them just follow along like sheep, and that's what they're hearing in the pulpits.
And they can't focus very long on anything scientific because someone with influence has scared them on tv or in church.
They see things as black and white, all or nothing.

Scientific people are tired of uninformed Christians (many believers are well read, know science, too, and don't see a conflict there)
Scientific thinking people just think the reactionary types are ridiculous, and have been hoodwinked by some fast talking pastors into thinking that God is really GOP, lured in by lots of talk about bait issues of sexual nature.

Of COURSE NOT. Science's argument against creationism is because evolution is based on facts and evidence. The bible says the world was made in seven days when geology says it took MILLIONS of years of constant evolution. Why isn't there an evil conspiracy to replace fact with religion???? Incidently, scientfic grants are a HELL of a lot less then the CHRISTAINS rake in through preaching fear and bigotry.

There definitely is a conspiracy against Christians. This will spread and get worse and worse until the Rapture. After all the Christians are gone.....God will take care of the ones left in His own way and it won't be pretty. Pops

No but Christianity seems to want to battle science but not the other way around. Save your sister from fundamentalism. Thanks! If we all save just one fundamentalist the world will be a better place.
