There is an equal amount of hate for love, you just hear about violent acts more than kind ones.

Yeah but I think a great deal of the hate comes from those crying about it. Don't get me wrong- I know that there are those people who are extremely hateful and intolerant, But there are also many who are so convinced that everyone is hateful, that all they do is look for that hate. When you concentrate on hatred and on people being hateful to you and others, that is all you will see. Angry people are usually the worst about this- they typically have hate filled hearts, but I am not sure they recognize that.
When we spend our time looking for love and giving love and focusing on love, then we will see the beauties of this earth and we will meet the beautiful people who live here. Most of the people in this world really want to love others and do what is right. If we seek out those people, then our lives will be more enriched.

not necessarily - i think media focuses on the bad instead of all the good (because who cares about the good news).... there's alot more love out there than hate imo.
