An English professor wrote the words, "A woman without her man is nothing" on the blackboard and directed the students to punctuate it correctly.

The men wrote: "A woman, without her man, is nothing."

The women wrote: "A woman: without her, man is nothing."

Most women I have flown with are definitely SAFER than most male pilots I have known. As far as piloting ability in normal circumstances AND emergency situations the female pilots I've flown with were at least equal. Some were superior. I used to hangar next to a woman who was ex-Israeli Air Force who was probably the finest pilot I've ever known.

I feel this question is rather sexist, actually. It shouldn't be an issue or make a difference.

No, women pilots are usually better than me.

I think women pilots are more conservative than men, they think a bit differently as in no so "yahooish" and less likely to fool around with the plane.

Women pilots also tend to have many masculine qualities and powder puffs aside can be some mean nut crackers!

Perfectly normal. There is nothing wrong with women pilots. My two best friends whoare women are both pilots and i have to be honest i feel safe with them than i do with a lot of male pilots. This question seems a little sexist. Dont worry about women pilots. They are just as capable as men.

Nary a bit. Some of the best pilots I know are women.

Patty Wagstaff is my favorite. She is a world champion aerobatic pilot . Her father was a pilot for JAL, and her sister Toni flys for Continental. She can fly almost anything if it has fixed, or rotary wings. Never flew for the airlines though.

The obvious fact is they are trained and tested like anybody else. Ability counts and everybody gets the same treatment during training and the continuing check processes. Now, let me give you a little inside info, due to the design of the female body structure it is not unusual to find the ladies beating their male counterparts in range of motion performance. This means the ladies are somewhat more dexterous and when coupled with an individual that has good hand and eye coordination you can't beat them in the cockpit for control ability! Fact, I have trained both and do concur with this finding.

I'd be nervous as can be...that watching her technique I'd see how much better a pilot she is than me....
I have some good friends who are lady pilots, one who's an instructor and helped me with some brush up. They fly as well as anybody else I've seen.
Go ask John King how he feels about Martha.

The best pilot that I personally know, and I know a great many, is Patty Wagstaff. She's a captain at United and one of the premier aerobatic airshow performers in the world. She can fly my family anywhere any day.

hey, i think women pilots are great. You shouldnt steryotype someone just because they are women. I hear a lot of women on ATC radios, and they are mostly better then, men, but i think that pilots are pilots, no matter who they are cause both men and women go to school to be a pilot, so it wouldn't really matter!!
