Despite the typographical error, where you typed a 6 rather than 60, you did reach the proper sum -- namely, 666. My question is, where did the numeric values for each letter come from? Note that B and U have the same value, 50. Why is R the only letter with a value that is not a multiple of 10?

Decades ago, as a teenager, I worked at a McDonald's. A few of us irreverent types called the frozen burger patties "communion wafers" and joked about them literally being the body of the beast. Frying a patty was called "consecration" and our "faithful congregation" wasn't required to believe in "transubstantiation" before they could consume the body of the beast, etc., etc. We even called our required uniforms "vestments" and the cash register was, of course, "the alter." Back then, McDonald's didn't have salads available for the "heathens" and the joke went on for weeks, strictly between those employees in the know.
