Namaste & Achcha

You have two Q?
Namaste, is a greeting, it literally means I bow before you.
Achcha means yes or OK, it also means good, depends on the contacts.
General etiquate demands that female stays quiet, in western culture also, female just stands there if she does not wish to shake hand. Men are not supposed to extend hand to a female unless she extends it first. Man must utter just greeting like good morning or Hello---- and add the title (lady, Ms, Miss, and Mrs.) and name if they know it.

It literally means 'good'. However, in conversation it is used as if you use 'OK'. Nothing to do with gender.

There is no disrespect in the word "achcha".
Please use it as and when you feel appropriate.
Namaste.
