depends how much you are earning, I notice you don't mention that.

The only way CSA would find out about the increase in your ex's income without you telling them is if they did a review on him but lets face it they can't even get the calculations correct for people wnating to pay or find the ones refusing to pay!
I'd give them a ring if I was you but don't expect anything to happen straight away, 1 st they got to send the form then give him so many weeks to return it then put it on the pile of every other claim waiting to be re-assessed.
Make a note of who you speak to when contacting them also the time & date, ask how long they give him to reply & if you've not heard anything by say a week after the date they've told you ring them again to find out whats going on.
Now fingers crossed they've got the form back & its waiting to be processed so again get a date to when you can expect a new assessment again gettin names of who speaking to date & time of call & just keep on top of them.
If it all goes belly up don't even bother trying to argue or reason with them to find out whats going on just get in touch with your MP. Can email them on www.writetothem.com.
I now go through my MP for all my CSA queries, thye have to reply within approx 28days to any requests of information from them & should get so much more sense than direct from CSA
Good luck hope you get the extra cash
PS Another tip remember to get which office your talking to as could be speaking to Liverpool 1 day & Belfast the next.

If you dont think that you're getting enough already then contact the CSA - if they are still in existence.
Do you really need to chase for more money though? If you think so, then they will tell you exactly what you need to do next.

inform the csa and ask them for a reassessment. if your ex hasn't informed them then they will not know, so give them a ring, i certainly would and have in the past, you may well be entitled to a rise but you won't know unless they look into it.
EDIT.. you don't go to court to have your maintenance changed.

CSA won't find out for themselves. You could call them and let them know. You'd have to go to court to get your child support changed, and it might or might not be increased.

they won't just find out on their own- you have to request it - you don't have to receive assistance to talk to the child support office- what you would be doing is getting a non-public child support assistance ..... sometimes they only change it if it is a certain % of change.

i think it will affect the amount you get but unless he tells them you wont get any difference (if any) until they request pay slips etc when they do their checks
