Since I live in Wilmington, I'd have to say the beach! Or, if you don't want an actual beach wedding, there are gorgeous gardens for an outdoor ceremony/reception in this area and many indoor options at upscale hotels or country clubs.
For example:

The Outer Banks are also beautiful!!

North Carolina is notably good at interior sight tourism merchandising. Get on google and seek for Outer Banks, Blue Ridge Mountains, and so on. locate the travellers promoting web sites and notice what they have. you may in all probability order archives via information superhighway or 800 telephone numbers.

I'm from Charlotte - so I would say Charlotte. We have lots of country clubs to have a reception, and we have really pretty big and small churches! Good Luck~

depends on alot of things, where you are, how much money you are willing to spend, indoor or out door. This place is really pretty though: http://www.fearrington.com/house/receptions.asp
