A VW dealer is the best place to go to get the exact part you want that is new and they can put it on for you. A parts store like kragen or auto zone would carry a cheap version of the part if you are lucky. Pick a Part is a last resort but you will have to dig through all the junk VW's to find it, then you have to take it off yourself. The dealer is your best bet.

From an auto salvage yard. Many of them will look for the part and remove it for you, or have them cataloged. Or you could check a VW dealer, but that's more expensive.
