I ask this cos when mass democracy started in britain(in the
1600's), Both sides couldnt stop arguing and so Cromwell
got rid of them-both Right and Leftists, too. Now,it seems that
this start-of mass representation, what most of us have now,
has carried-on with these inherant faults in it.
So can the terribly-risky alternative way of Randomly selecting
our"intelligent-but ordinary" politicians work? And to all our
benefit(s)?

Random selection over time ensures mediocre (average) leaders. Our goal should be to select exceptional ones.

Random eventually wouldn't be random, it would be pre-selected.
