what height are you attracted to and what height are you?

i'm curious about the theory that tall men are attracted to short women and vice versa and average size men to average height girls or taller. I heard it was so tall men wouldn't breed giants, and short girls wouldn't breed super short ones....is this true? i seem to see this a lot

by the way, i'm 5'9 and have all the guys i have fell for turned out to be shorter or my height..hmm

I am 5' 3" and I am attracted to guys over 6', my current boyfriend is 6' 6".

Last I knew I was 5'4 1/2, and I like my guys to be taller. I just think taller guys are very attractive in the fact that, to have a longer body, can have really sexy ab definition and longer reach and things like that. I have some male friends the same height too and I don't mind it too much, but if I need something off a high shelf its just not cool to have 2 people climbing up on stools all the time to reach for chips or something.

As for breeding giants and shorter people. I don't think that is really true because if that were the case then there would be numerous shaqs around here and many oompa loompas or something. Though something in genetics can make it so that average size people birth little people, but not all the time.

I'm 5'4. I like guys 5'11 or taller. I'm especially fond of guys about 6'3 or 6'4. I always thought that guys like having shorter girls because it makes them feel more manly and vice versa for girls bcuz it makes them feel more protected. I don't know if this is true but I think taller guys tend to be considered "more attractive" and smaller girls tend to be considered "cuter" so that might just be why they attract each other.

all men have different feelings, most look for special features in women, but i do not think that just because a guy is tall means that he only likes smaller women, i think the first women that makes him feel happy will catch his attention. And its all about genetics, i am 5'7 and still growing, my mom is 5'1 and my dad is 6'1, and my brother is 5'10ish and done growing
so in my opinion, short women do not breed short kids

I'm 5'6"...I've dated guys from my height up to about 6'3" or so.

Parent's height is no guarantee the kid will be tall or short. I've known plenty of people who had kids that grew taller than they...and those whose kids all grew up to be shorter than their parents or a mix (some taller, some not).

I like my men tall as I feel so protected when am cuddled.
I have three sisters, we are all under 5'4" but all married dated taller men. The children produced within our family are quite tall too ( all the kids over 10 are taller than us mums lol)

Well I haven't dated any one that is shorter then me. I'm 5'7 and my boyfriend is 6'4. I love tall men. I don't know if its for the simple fact that I love tall men or I wouldn't be able to stand a man who I have to look down to when I'm wearing heels.

yeah, i think you are on to something, i have noticed that too since I am male, 5'7" and short women only want 6' or taller... its the women that are 5'5" till about 5' 8", that are really attacted to me, and i to them....

I think the woman plays the bigger part here.... the women decide how tall they want, and feed the signals to the guys...
